What’s this all about?

Before we get all technical... and answer any questions, the word ‘ Theatre ’ means a place for seeing while ‘ Acting ’ is defined as the work of an actor or actress, which is a person in theatre, television, film, or any other storytelling medium who tells the story by portraying a character and, usually, speaking or singing the written text or play...An introduction to a branch of the performing arts: a form that has existed since the dawn of our race, as a result of the human tendency for storytelling. Presenting the Never Grow Up Theatre workshop... Time to bring out the ‘kalakaar’ in you we say!

So what’s in store that day?

Tons of exercises on self awareness, Miming, Concentration and enhancing Observation, Creativity & Spontaneity, Trust exercises, Voice projection and communication coupled with slightly advanced level theatre activities and processes focussing on aspects like Action, Imagination, Character building, Units and Objectives. All this, with lunch and a promise of a lot of fun!

About the Workshop Director

Gaurev Desai has been associated with the Film / TV industry for almost 18 years now, either through acting, direction or writing. From being a professional actor since the age of 9, he has now graduated to Producing and Directing a Marathi daily soap for ETV besides doing lots of work for Sony TV, DD and programs being aired on Disney. He is now an independent film maker and has been conducting workshops since 2002.
